‘Power Book IV: Force’ to Conclude After Three Seasons on Starz, But Joseph Sikora Hints at More to Come

Joseph Sikora announced that the third season of “Power Book IV: Force” will be its last. However, he hinted at a new project within the “Power” universe, and a recent report from Variety seemingly confirms that another series is already in development.

With “Power Book II: Ghost” entering its fourth and final season, “Power Book III: Raising Kanan” remains the only ongoing series at Starz, having been renewed for a fifth season in March. The original “Power” series ended in 2020. In addition, a new prequel series titled “Origins” was announced in March, coinciding with showrunner Gary Lennon extending his deal with Lionsgate Television to continue his work on the franchise.

In a video shared on Starz and Sikora’s Instagram pages, Sikora stated, “When Gary Lennon and the writers and I mapped out our third season, we realized we were crafting a complete story, making it the perfect time to conclude Tommy’s journey in Chicago.”

Addressing the audience from the show’s set, Sikora added, “But don’t worry. Tommy’s journey is far from over. We’re just getting started, and I can’t wait to reveal what’s next. A big shoutout to the cast and crew of ‘Power Book IV: Force.’ Tune in, because ghosts never die, and power never ends.”

Gary Lennon expressed mixed emotions about concluding this chapter of Tommy’s story. “It’s bittersweet to end this chapter, but Season 3 will challenge everything we thought we knew about Tommy’s world. Although ‘Force’ is ending, there’s still plenty of compelling storytelling ahead within the Power Universe.”

“Power Book IV: Force” was renewed for its third season in December, following the conclusion of its second season the previous month. The show’s executive producers include Lennon; franchise creator Courtney A. Kemp for End of Episode; Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson through G-Unit Film and Television; Mark Canton through Atmosphere Entertainment MM; Terri Kopp; and Chris Selak. Lionsgate is the producing studio.
